President's Message June 2009

Dear Members, By now, most of you canary people are almost done breeding. Time to fatten up those babies, pick the ones you want to keep, and get ready to start filling the orders. It is the same process for the other bird types at different times of the year. I need someone to step up to the plate and tell us the secrets of other breeds. At the May meeting, one of the things we discussed was changing the format of th monthly meetings. We are trying to find out if we could get better attendance if we eliminated the lunch and changed the time of the meeting. It's getting time to start making your donations for ads and sponsorships for the show. You will be getting reminders soon. We ended the meeting discussing the '09 show: same location as '08 same hotel same dinner location
We are still missing the following information: TIMBRADOS: judge, secretary, steward FINCHES: secretary COCKATIELS: judge, secretary, steward BUDGIES: judge, secretary, steward
We will have an auction again! That means we need donations of bird stuff: birds, cages, misc.
