49th Annual Cage Bird Show

On exhibit will be Budgies, Canary Varieties including American Singer, Color-bred / Red Factors, Frilled, Norwich, and other Old Variety Canaries, Spanish Timbrado Canaries, colorful Finches and Softbills and more! Hundreds of birds are expected to compete and several renowned bird judges will award ribbons and trophies. Song canaries will be judged on their singing abilities. Other birds will be judged on condition and conformation.

Santa Clara Valley Canary & Exotic Bird Club, founded in 1958

Our present membership represents the entire Bay Area as well as many points far beyond. From a group of approximately 17 members, the Club has grown to well over 50 members. Our monthly meetings are generally held on the second Sunday of each month and are combined with a potluck lunch. Special activities include the Summer BBQ, Bird Auctions in February and October, and the Open Show in December each year. The Club actively supports the American Federation of Aviculture and keeps currently informed on the conditions and situations of the wild bird population, as well as the welfare of the various cage birds
